Google’s Spam Update
rolled out in October 2023
Google has rolled out a new upgrade aimed at reducing the number of spam results that users see.
Reason for update:
High number of User spam reports
Things you should NOT do to avoid penalties from the
Google Spam Update:
- Publish AI-generated content without any value addition
– Extracting data and content from websites or article scraping without permission
- Add too many ads while the page loads, which eventually leads to poor user experience
– Publish affiliate marketing pages that have very little content and rely only on monetization.
– Add hidden texts and links that users can’t see but search engines can.
This update will take a few weeks to roll out completely. This update only applies to websites that contain any of the previously mentioned elements.
