PM Narendra Modi took his oath for being the PM of India for the third time on June 9th.

The NDA won the elections with the majority of 292 seats.

President Droupadi Murmu accepted the resignation of Narendra Modi as PM and the Council of Ministers.

How did BJP win the Lok Sabha Elections 2024?

BJP won this election by forming a strong alliance with other political  parties.

BJP has collaborated with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) which includes parties like Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janata Dal (United) (JDU).

In these elections NDA won by a total of 293 seats.

The numbers for NDA are far less than what exit polls had predicted.

The INDIA had gone against all the predictions and gave a tough fight.

The states that did fight amazingly are Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

Congress won 100 seats which is their record since 2014.

Congress along with its other allies won 235 seats.

Some people claimed that congress can still win the election if Nitish Kumar joins the party.

Despite all of this the performance of the Congress party has improved after two consecutive general elections.
