According to Ryan, this feature has been a part of LinkedIn’s broader strategy. It aims to modernise the platform, a shift from its text-rich UI. Product Manager Tejaswi Natarajan, believes this will help the professional brands to connect with their audience more effectively while keeping the platform more relevant in this competitive market.

The new feature gives brands a huge chance to revamp their marketing approaches. It will also drive younger audiences towards the platform and help LinkedIn to stay relevant. The way users interact with the platform might change, but it’s unlikely to completely kill its essence– only if it is managed carefully.
